Obama two weeks ago: It's "unliikely" that Ebola will reach the U.S.

The smartest president in history--according to the Lying Media and swooning Democrats--seems to have a record of being wrong about damn near everything.  But no matter:  The Lying Media still prints every declaration he makes without the slightest question or qualm.  Because loyalty.

Here's Obama two weeks ago on the liklihood of the Ebola virus making it to the U.S.
First and foremost, I want the American people to know that our experts...agree that the chances of an Ebola outbreak here in the United States are extremely low. We’ve been taking the necessary precautions, including working with countries in West Africa to increase screening at airports so that someone with the virus doesn’t get on a plane for the United States. In the unlikely event that someone with Ebola does reach our shores, we’ve taken new measures so that we’re prepared here at home.
And less than a week later the Liberian man infected with Ebola made it to Dallas.

It doesn't take a Ph.D to realize that it was astronomically stupid of Obama to make that "unlikely to reach our shores" statement.  But as far as I can determine, stupidity and incompetence are Obama's main defining features.  The only thing that seems to matter to Obama and company is keeping majority control in the senate.
