Law prof at Hofstra asks: "Is the Electoral College system unconstitutional?"

Attorneys vary widely in their understanding of the Constitution.  But you'd think people who teach law would know more about it, right?

Clearly at Hofstra that's not the case.  A leftist law prof there--Leon Friedman--clearly upset by the election results--tweeted this:

Let that sink in for a second:  The way this nation elects presidents--the electoral college--is specified right in the Constitution.

But I don't doubt for a moment that Leftists believe the Constitution itself is unconstitutional--at least if it doesn't give 'em exactly what they demand.
