German govt fines citizen $1,500 for posting cartoon critical of "refugees"

How do your betters control what you see on the internet, and the things you're permitted to post?  By fining citizens huge sums for violating the approved guidelines.  In this case the German government has fined a 62-year-old German woman 1,350 euros for posting a satirical cartoon critical of so-called "refugees" on her Facebook page, Berliner Morgenpost reports.

The Berlin resident was arrested and had her home raided by police after she shared a picture on Facebook entitled, “Do you have anything against refugees?”  The cartoon had a number of proposed answers including “Yes, machine guns and hand grenades.”

The prosecution condemned her post as “an utterance capable of inciting hatred and denigration of the human dignity of others.”

In court the woman claimed she shared the cartoon without reading all the content, saying “I like to pass on funny things.”

Think:  If, a month after Muslim terrorists flew the hijacke planes into the World Trade Center, someone had predicted that within 16 years European governments would have made it a crime to post a cartoon on fakebook critical of Muslim rapefugees, would you have believed it possible?

BTW, after the woman posted the cartoon, the left-wing extremist group Antifa sent the woman death threats.  So naturally the German government fined Antifa for making death threats, right?

Kidding, of course.  The government is eager to fine a lone 62-year-old woman, not at all eager to provoke the violent thugs of Antifa.

Angela Merkel’s government has declared war on what they call "hate speech" since her government began admitting over a million so-called "refugees" from the middle-east and North Africa.  German police have raided dozens of homes for offenses that were simply classed as “xenophobic.”

In the aftermath of one operation that saw 60 homes raided, Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière justified the police actions saying “violence, even verbal violence, in any form and in any context” was “unacceptable.”  But apparently not when the thugs of antifa make death threats.

Merkel's government has appointed a former member of the infamous Communist East German secret police--the Stasi--to monitor and prosecute comments on social media.

Let that sink in for a minute.

Other Germans charged thousands of euros for “hate speech” including a 52-year-old computer scientist who complained that police were letting migrant shoplifters go, a 66-year-old who handed out leaflets saying “refugees go home,” and a couple who were fined for creating a Facebook group called the “anti-refugee movement.”

Is there a single rational person in the U.S. who doubts that if Hilliary had won the election her administration would be fining Americans for posting "politically incorrect" things on the Internet?  Why do you think Obama and every Democrat totalitarian "leader" wanted the government to control content on the internet?
